I am retired, single, living on my own. My 28 years old son lives in Cologne. I decided to move to Crete just a few months ago after a wonderful house-sit for 6 months in Kritsa. The house-owner, Gudrun gave me all her contacts (she’s an Inco-member, too), made me socialise immediately and this plus the fantastic island of Crete, convinced me to stay.
My CV would be 2 pages long. Short: I’ve been in the German police for 4 years, 10 years in Tourism, over 30 years in procurement management for Siemens, buying technical parts for telecommunication devices worldwide. I speak German, English, French, Dutch, Spanish and am trying hard to learn Greek.
I’ve got driving- and boat-licences and I am familiar with social media.
After entering this community, I received so much assistance in organising my settling down.
Even the apartment I rented I found on the INCO site. I love to help and volunteer, have a lot of organisational practice. No inhibitions in contact with authorities 😉
Being a German committee member might bring some new, fresh ideas for the community.
Plus -last but not least- I have plenty of spare time to invest in Committee work
