INCO Committee

Geoff Campbell
Hi, I was born in New Zealand, married to Hilary Carson-Campbell, since 2008. Have two children from a previous marriage, sadly my son died at the age of 47, he had one daughter, now aged 19, and my daughter is 52 and has 2 grown up sons.

In 2024 we made the decision to move permanently to Crete and live here full time. We purchased an apartment in Ierapetra which was completed last year.
We have been coming to Crete from New Zealand for the last 8 years. We love the people and have had positive experiences here. We also love the sea swimming, and we can do this at least 9 months of the year. Access to medical specialists is a big plus for us.

I have been retired from paid employment for the last 15 years. Since then, I have been involved in various voluntary roles in the community. I have been a Justice of the Peace for NZ for that last 35 years and retired from that role last year to come to live here.

I am a lover of the great outdoors and have a passion for plant propagation and gardening in general. As a former completive cyclist, I still enjoy getting out for a bike ride

I started my work life in Insurance, then moved into a quasi-government department that looked after universal accident cover for all NZers. Having been made redundant from therein 1967 I worked in administrative roles in various organisations, finally settling on employment with an NFP (not for profit) organisation that represented both my hobby and sporting interest – Cycling.
I really enjoyed my time working in sports administration looking after all aspects, from financial management, to becoming experienced in data base management. I pride myself on having good personal management skills. I have had years of experience acting as secretary to various work and voluntary organisations.

Why join Inco?
I believe I have the necessary skills to assist the organisation. My Justice of the Peace experiences has given me the skills to communicate with all people in the community.
I have served on numerous committees over the years, and believe this experience would benefit your organisation
