Hospital Booking System
The updated online hospital booking system is now active for hospitals in the Lassithi area.
Appointments at most clinics can now be made online although there are some which can only be booked by telephone.
The hospital services website is not available in English but there is a new guide available for INCO members in our Living in Crete section (Available Here)

Jo Harding – Agios Nikolaos Hospital
If you’ve visited the hospital at Agios Nikolaos and heard an English-speaking voice coming from the office to the right of the main entrance, it’s likely to be that of Jo, who works in the admin department.
We asked her how she’d found herself a long way from home and working in Crete.

Private Nurses and Carers
After surgery (or other procedures) and in some other situations, patients in the hospital will require someone to sit with them during the initial two nights afterwards. This role doesn't necessitate a trained nurse; anyone willing can fulfil it. In some situations, you may need a COVID-19 rapid test to enter the ward.
